The Defensible Number Diagnostic<\/h1>\n

What happens, in order<\/h2>\n\n

  1. Pick a time below. The request comes to me first. Nothing is booked yet and nothing is charged. You’ll get an email saying the request was received, not a confirmation.<\/li>\n
  2. Within a few hours on a business day, I email you export instructions for your commerce platform, your email platform, and a month-by-month view of your DTC number for the last 12 to 24 months. About 15 minutes. Reply with the files or a share link.<\/li>\n
  3. I review your data, usually within one business day. If there isn’t a Defensible Number worth more than $487 in it, I say so and cancel the request. You’ve paid nothing, and you’ll still know something about your data you didn’t before.<\/li>\n
  4. If there is, I send a payment link. $487, credited in full toward your first invoice if you go on to work with me, not refundable. Paying confirms the slot, and the calendar confirmation arrives then.<\/li>\n
  5. The call. 30 minutes, screen share. I walk you through your five lines live. You leave with the artifact in writing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    What “reviewed before you pay” means, concretely<\/h2>\n\n

    • I open your exports and run the bracket before any money moves.<\/li>\n
    • If your monthly series is shorter than 12 months, I tell you the controllable number will be an upper bound, and you decide whether to proceed.<\/li>\n
    • If it’s not worth the fee, I tell you, and we stop. There is no partial charge and no “let’s try anyway” charge.<\/li>\n
    • Your exports are used for your diagnostic only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

      Not refundable, and here is why: this is my time on your real numbers, not a product you can return.
